Oreo Fudge Recipe

What your going to need:
-3 cups sugar
-2/3 cup evaporated milk
-7oz jar of marshmallow creme
-1tsp. vanilla
-3/4cup margarine
-12oz. semi sweet chocolate chips
-crushed oreos

What you need to do:
1. Bring sugar, margarine, and milk to a boil in a med-large pot, stirring the entire time. Turn heat to medium and continue stirring for 5 more minutes
2. Remove from heat and add the chocolate chips, stire until melted (don't use a wooden spoon). Add remaining ingredients until well blended.
3.Pour into a lightly greases 13x9 inch pan. Add extra crushed oreos to the top. Cool at room temperature or in the fridge to harden. Cut into squares and enjoy:)

since i last posted.

I've been really reallllly busy.

and honestly, i havent done anything too exciting to blog about.

i know right? BORING.

Well heres a little update on my latest happenings:

1. finished summer school

2. packed up my entire life into 7 boxes and about a million bags and moved down the street to my boyfriends.

3. finally finished unpacking and sorting all my CRAP out yesterday.

yup. thats about it.

some things i plan for the near future:

1. school starts next week; boo :(

2. I want to get my crafty senses back and create some fall flower arangements

3. About three years ago i started a xmas stocking, i want to finish it THIS YEAR.

4. start cooking real dinners again. ha.

Ikea

Seriously, how can someone not love Ikea?!

I love Ikea and i def love our new bedroom set.

and the best part is, is that we bought the extra piece for the headboard and the sides pull out and have shelves so theyre hidden!!

SCRAPBOOKING!

FINALLY I'VE STARTED SCRAPBOOKING AGAIN. CURRENTLY ON HAWAII TRIP 2004! HERE ARE A COUPLE OF PAGES I DID THE OTHER DAY.

apartment is becoming a home.

Since I'm moving into Shannons apartment in about three months I've given it a little TLC and a little help from his parents.

His parents Co-signed for Shannon to get new furniture for his birthday. 14 piece set for $1000: Couch, love seat, 2 end tables, 2 lamps, coffee table, red throw, the rug, a picture frame, and the accessories on the coffee table.

His mom also bought this wall decor for Shannons birthday.

It matches perfectly with the browns and blues in the rug.

I bought Shannon these wall sconces for his birthday.

This wall sconce was a hand-me-down from my mom.

When I actually move in we'll have sooo much more stuff that I have in my room at my moms. Im not quite sure where I'm going to put it all. I have a lot of picture frames.

Obsession

Ever since Ushers new CD, Raymond V S. Raymond, came out I've been listening to him non-stop. I have over 50 Usher songs on my iPod and I let them play on repeat, at home or in the car.
Last week he performed on Oprah and oooo... ;)
Today I happened to flip the channel to E! tv and there was True Hollywood Story: Usher.
I had to watch it! Aaaa-mazing!

Cruise Control

So, I've come to LOOOOVE my cruise control and use it everyday. Might I add, I didn't have cruise control in my old car...okay,so I did...it just didn't work.

Ever since I got a speeding ticket for going 89!!!! on the freeway I've been deathly afraid of getting another one.

First, I cant go to driving school for 2 more years;

Second, my mom will drop me from her insurance which will make my rates sky rocket from $80 a month to somewhere mid $200, which poor me cannot afford!!

I find it very easy to speed, without knowing, in my newwww car so now I utilize the cruise control. Set at 70 for freeways and 50 for regular roads to guarantee there will be no issuing of speeding tickets anytime soon:)

So somewhere I read, or heard, about this amazing idea for fast cooking during the week when you dont have alot of time on your hands.

Pre-cook the whole weeks food on Monday!!!!!!!

Yes, i think its a fantastic idea because I hate cooking and eating really fast so i can run out the door in time to get to work!

So i think Mondays are going to be dedicated to pre-cooking.

Like grilling the chicken for our chicken salad on Tuesday.

or making the spaghetti sauce(because mine is homemade and takes 2 hrs) for Wednesdays dinner.

pre-cooking the steak for Thursdays steak tacos.

Fridays we usually do pizza night, but if not i'll pre-cook whatever it is that we are having.

boyfriend, crazy

So our good friends Cammy and Drew are really into biking. Therefore my boyfriend had to become "really into biking". He spent a crazy amount of money on a bicycle but i suppose it was a damn good deal. Now he's obssessed with biking(like drew). Well this weekend while his parents were in town we decided to get a little taste of what Shannon does. We all went up to South Mountain and Shannon took his bike along. We watched him get all geared up :

Then we stood at the top and watched him ride down to the bottom. Then we drove down and picked him up!

Unfortunately, my camera doesnt have amazing zoom so you cant really see him but trust me, he's there!

First things first

Shannons parents have been thinking about buying a house out in Arizona for a rental property so they can write it off for tax purposes, they purchased a beautiful house out in Queen Creek yesterday! At first it wasnt clear who was renting the house but now it is for sure Brandon. Because Brandon will be moving out of Shannons apartment I get to move in!!! It will be about three months until Brandons rental will be built so I have plenty of time to get ready and prepare my parents cuz lemme tell ya, they weren't pleased when they heard the news. But meh, they'll get over it :)

Penne with Shrimp

So last night I decided to create my own pasta.

After looking at recipe after recipe and couldnt find one i liked...i decided 'screw recipes'.

I'll just make something up. 

So without further ado...

 Shrimp

growing up

wow...now that i've finally bought my first car i feel like ive grown so much in just a day.

Now i have to start paying my car payments and paying for insurance!

So happy to finally do something on my own!

on the flip side...spring breaks over. it was fun while it lasted.

BUT i'm definitely not ready to go back to school.

started car shopping yesterday! it was such a success!
drove a sexy dodge nitro. it was all black with black rims and on the inside it had leather seats and a touch screen radio!!
i also found a 4x4 jeep laredo, 4x4 rav4 and a santa fe!!
i also eliminated a bunch of possibilities i was considering!
more car shopping to come next weekend!

So behind...

Since i took a little vaca with my boo this weekend i've kinda fallen behind on keeping up with everyones post and posting myself. haha. Sooo...i just caught up on some of my fav bloggers.

Now to tell you about Sedona...me and the boy decided we deserved a nice little get away for our 2 year anniversary! it was so gorgeous there! perfect weather! We visited the chapel on the mountain which was really cool! we went on the pink jeep tour through the canyon and went rock crawling. our tour guide was hilarious! Then we asked him what was good to eat and he told us about this really nice cantina so we tried it out. we got some delish chimis!!
Now to tell you about our room...FREAKIN AMAZING! it had a jacuzzi tub in it so we spent some time relaxin with the jets on. it had a fire place to keep us warm and cozy. and the bed was awesome! plush pillow top king size, never had so much room in my life. lol.

Sunday we took the long way home through Jerome. Now that road is scary! We made a pitstop in Prescott to have lunch with Holly and then we stopped in Surprise to visit Shannons friend Sean!

Oh what a good weekend. i think i need one of those every weekend ;)

A visit from Holly

On Friday my BFF Holly came to town. We spent the entire friday shopping and buying cute new clothes for summer :D Oh and we also ran into an old friend, Kyrstin. So we joined together and continued shopping!
I got two new dresses that are super cute, new sandals, new tank tops, and new sun glasses!

Saturday we went to Mary Poppins, lemme tell ya, it was friggen cool!Oh, first we went to this delish pizza place in Tempe.

 

Then Saturday night Holly took Shannon and I to Swirl it FroYo(frozen yogurt, dont ya love it?)and that was suuuuper delish too. i got raspberry and vanilla frozen yogurt and i topped it with blueberries, strawberries, kiwis, and raspberries. Its a pretty chill place. you pay buy the ounce so dont get more than you can eat!

Sunday we went to the movies and saw Shutter Island. What a good but confusing movie! 

Back to reality today :(
