yesterdays ventures

so...

it started out, me making home-made macaroni and cheese. lemme tell ya, its DELISH!!

then i decided i wanted a new pair of jeans to wear with my boots. so off to buckle i went.

and the awesome thing was..i had free money to spend there, so thanks mom and Shari for those gift cards:)

i returned home to finish making my mac and cheese and head to Carrabbas for our work party.

it was pretty fun to see everyone. kinda wierd to see them all in normal clothes when im used to seeing them in dickies and white shirts&tie.

we played a white elephant game which was somewhat boring because the presents were lame so no one was stealing anything.

i returned home to spend the next 4 hours making crunchy peanut butter smores bites!! it was a lot of work but they are delish! just take a look:

 

these cookies were for our annual cookies and ornament exchange which Brenda throws every year. so we went over there and had a blast! we the ornament game (same concept as white elephant) and i ended up with a super cute ornament that my mom liked (we always team up and get two awesome ornaments) and she got a glass christmas tree ornament, which would go great on her REAL glass ornament tree. Then we played the Left, center, right game. i lost. we chit-chatted some and exchanged everyones cookies which all look scrumptious.

overall yesterday was prettyyyyyyyy funn! today...not so much.

but hey THREE DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS! (including today)

is it really worth it?

is doing drugs really worth risking your life?! 

i've never done any hardcore drugs before so i wouldn't exactly know.

and im not willing to try, and become addicted, and then possibly DIE.

look at all the people who have died this year from doing drugs! its sad!
and i could name plenty of people i know from school who have also died this year from OD.

i got myself a new pair of skinny jeans to go with my sexy boots ;)

This is what I've been doing...

Okay so i know i havent posted since Thursday but common, I've been SUUUUPER busyyyyy!

Thursday & Friday: I spent most of the entire days online doing Traffic School :(

and then Friday night I worked. After that me and Shannon headed over to my lovely cousins house for her Christmas party! It was pretty enjoyable. They had delish food, music, fire in the back, and lots to drink.

Saturday: I spent the whole day baking with my BFF Holly!! Heres what we made:

Also, i forgot to take pictures of everything before i cut it up...

And then i made Black & White Brownies, which were the best thing i made.

 But unfortunately, forgot to photograph it.

And then we put everything together to make these beautiful plates for our neighbors!!

I proceeded to go to work after all of this.

And after work i came home and invited holly over to play games with my family until ONE in the morning.

Fun stuff!

Sunday: I hung out with Holly and my mom and we had some girl time at the mall.

I got my ears pierced for the 2nd hole.

and we bought some Christmas gifts for my step dad.

After, i had to go to work for a quite boring night :(

THEN WE PLAYED MORE GAMES:)

ahhh, i love my family and friends.

But today, Holly left to go back home :(

lately...

I've been wanting a radio in my bedroom...

since i placed my old radio/cd player in the goodwill pile about six months ago...

AND THEN....

i was driving home from work today and it dawned on me that my alarm clock

is not only an alarm clock...

ITS A RADIO TOO!!!!!!!

so exciting.

haha

1 week until Christmas:D

now that classes are officially over...

here are my plans for winter break:

1) study, study, study, study, study for the SAT test in January

(because i have yet to get a good enough grade)

2) turn Fridays into Scrapbooking days

3) re-organize my entire room and just overall make it better

4) get Shannons printer fixed (because i broke it)

5) Spend lots of time with family, including Shannons

and mine in Wisconsin in January

6) watch at least up to 3 more seasons of One Tree Hill

7) read a couple of books

1 including "Hello Vodka, Its Chelsea" by Chelsea Handler

8) EXERCISE!

9) catch up with some friends

10) Locate my classes at the Polytech campus

and show Cammy around the Tempe campus

11) GO TO THE SNOW!!!!

(minus the snow I'll be seeing in WI)

OVERALL: have lots and lots of fun!!

Pet peeve#2:

TRANSPORTATION DRIVERS

ugh, they're so annoying.

the lightrail operators are rude!

they dont wait for you to cross the street,

they loudly honk their horn when your right in front of the train,

and they inconsiderately drive.

when there are people standing up then fall down because the drivers stomp on the break or gas unexpectedly.

The bus drivers drive way too fast,

they dont let you walk across the street either,

and they give you dirty looks!!

FANTABULOUS!

i spent the whole weekend with my mom shopping, doing girl things, and just catching up on life with each other.

Today we met up with my cousin Sharon and we went to the nail salon and got pedicures and went to lunch. 

and THEN...i called work, and they said they were too slow for me to come in, which is, in one case a good thing because now im not wasting TWO hours of my life on nothing and not making any money. But in another case is a bad thing, because now i am stuck home studying for my finals :/  

BUT ON A GOOD NOTE, TOMORROW IS MY LAST DAY OF CLASSES :)))

IF YOUR IN THE HOV LANE OR THE FAR LEFT LANE AND DRIVING 65, MOVE!!

WHEN YOU COME UP TO A TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT VAN DO NOT SLOW DOWN TO 50! SLOW DOWN TO 70 AND KEEP DRIVING!!!!!!!

dear dad,

me and mom had a nice little chat about you last night. For some reason, no matter how big of a douche bag you used to be, i still love you with everything i have. You never really were there for me, i mean you left me and mom when i was born and you left me when i turned 16(after you had promised not to move away until i made it to college). Theres been a lot of promises broken. but putting all of that aside, i know you care for me and love me too. i know you want the best for me and would do anything to make me happy. i guess i should just be thankful that you didn't disapear and not stay in contact. I look at shannon sometimes and wonder how he could ever live without knowing if his dad is dead or where he is, what he's doing. Im grateful that you gave me the life i have, without you i wouldnt even be living.

i miss you.
